This weeks cold weather have pushed many of the fish looking to spawn back into the draws and off the main and secondary point leading into spawning areas.  Bass to 7 pounds have been good off primary and secondary points up the Rio Grande on ¾ ounce jigs and wacky worms in natural colors.

The Canyons in Mexico have been producing by using DD22s in the draws leading up to spawning areas.  The grass lines and draws up San Pedro near the north boat ramp have been producing nice limits with wacky rigged worms and 6 inch Texas rigged dingers.

California Creek and Evans creek areas are producing large fish in deeper water in the 25 to 45 feet range.  Senkos thrown into spawn areas and adjacent draws have provided limits of 2 to 4 pound fish in many areas.

Next weeks warming trend should begin pushing larger fish back to bedding areas and provide some outstanding site fishing.
